Long ago,a young woman being raped in a neighborhood in Beijing. Somehow, the news reached the revolutionary Chairman Mao Zedong. He personally met the victim. He asked her, "Did you scream for help when you were being raped?" The girl nodded.
Chairman Mao lovingly placed his hand on her head and gently said, "My child! Can you scream again with the same force?" The girl replied, "Yes."
On Chairman Mao's orders, some soldiers were lined up in a half-kilometer circle. The girl was then told to scream with the same force. The girl did so. Mao summoned the soldiers and asked each one if they heard the girl's scream. All the soldiers said they could hear her scream.
Chairman Mao now ordered the soldiers to arrest all the men in a half-kilometer radius, and if the culprit could not be identified within thirty minutes, the arrested men should be shot.
The order was immediately followed, and barely ten minutes had passed since the given deadline when the culprit was identified. Within the next twenty minutes, he was apprehended and brought before Chairman Mao. The girl identified him, and the verdict was passed, and the culprit was beheaded.
The time from crime to punishment must have been about three hours. This is called instant justice, which is why China is progressing in every field today.
If something like this had happened in our country, perhaps there wouldn't have been so many incidents of rape. But what happens here? If the victim is alive, she has to go to court for years, and if she is burned, there are only candlelight vigils in her name.
