The Farmer's Legacy

An old farmer lived on the outskirts of a small village.

He had no land, no wealth—just a small mud house, a single ox, and a life of simplicity.

In the morning, he would set out for the fields with his plow,

and by evening, his face would glow with the soil and the sun's rays.

But the farmer was known not only for his hard work, but for his heart.

Every day, he would place an earthen pot on the side of the road in front of his house—filled with cool, clear water.

Sometimes a laborer would stop to drink,

Sometimes a traveler would rest their weary feet,

Sometimes a child would come and sneak a sip.

People would say, "Father, why do you do so much? No one even thanks you."

The old man smiled and said, "Son, when the sun gives light every day without expectation, why should I wait for thanks?

My job is simply to store water—it's God's job to provide the fruit."

Time passed... seasons changed... and the farmer grew old.

His son went to the city—to dream big and build a great life.

Many years later, one day, in the scorching heat, the same son was walking down the road.

Thirst had parched his throat, his body was burning.

Suddenly, he saw a pot on the side of the road—made of clay, just like the one his father used to keep.

He knelt down and drank water with both hands.

As the cold water sank down his throat, a sense of relief descended upon his soul.

He closed his eyes for a moment—and he felt as if his father's voice was echoing in the air—

"Look, son, whatever goodness we give to this world,it returns to us in some form or another."

Her tears fell into the water in the pot—as sacred and eternal as the words of a sage.

Moral of the story : -

Every good deed, every kindness, every service—is stored as energy in the universe.

It returns, but at its own time—sometimes as help, sometimes as coincidence, and sometimes as God's grace.

So whenever you get the opportunity—

Don't forget to leave "a pot of water" in someone's life.

Because that water not only quenches someone's thirst, but also makes our actions immortal.
