Star HR 6819

Scientists discovered a mysterious black hole about 1000 light years away from Earth two years ago. Scientists were very happy because of the black hole being found closest to the Earth.  But after its investigation, now scientists have made a surprising disclosure. It has been found in the investigation that what scientists were thinking of as a black hole is a vampire star. The most surprising thing is that it swallows its nearest stars.

Dietrich Baade, a scientist at the European Southern Observatory, had told that this is a black hole four times larger than the Sun near Earth, whose only two stars are orbiting.  Scientists have named it HR 6819, while the name of its constellation is Telescopium. When viewed with a telescope, this black hole will look like a shining star and there are stars orbiting each other. After all, scientists have found out why it is spinning so fast. During this, he saw a black hole between them.

Scientist Abigail Prost of Belgium's KU Leuven said that when spectroscopy of this star was done, surprising information was revealed.  Before the investigation, we were thinking of this star as a black hole. The two stars located there are revolving around the black hole in different orbits. When it was investigated, it was found that it is a vampire star, there is no black hole.

He has told that after researching about the light coming from there, information came out that this big star has become a vampire which is eating the stars around it and turning them into neutron star. Scientist Abigail Prost said that the process of neutron star formation and the gravitational waves emanating from it are being calculated.

The scientist says that HR 6819 is in the early stage of its development. He said that we are surprised to see the connection between the two stars. After this discovery, many new things have come out. According to Abigail Proust, this is completely changing the information we had about the evolution and origin of stars so far.  The study has been published in the journal Astronomy and Astrophysics.

Another scientist told two years ago that this black hole is spinning at 60 kilometers per second and it is five times more massive than the sun. He had told that for the first time a black hole has been found in the dark, which is very dangerous. But this time it has been found in research that it is a star that is eating other stars.
