Aurora Borealis

You must have seen such a scene in many pictures in which you see many different colors in the sky, such as green, blue, pink, purple and many more, but do you know what it is and in what places? Incidents happen.  Actually, it is called Aurora Light which is mainly seen in polar regions. In fact, these days, many areas of Scotland have seen a great performance of Aurora Borealis, after which its pictures are becoming very viral on social media. It was illuminating the sky in a very beautiful way which mesmerized the users.

According to a report, Aurora Light is a natural phenomenon caused by geomagnetic storms from the sun, which appears as rays of light in the sky. When you look up to the sky, they shimmer and you will feel like some dancing floor lights are shining in the sky.

On the other hand, on Sunday, new pictures from Kinross to Outer Hebrides surprised people on social media. The event produced flashes of brilliant fluorescent green and pink light in the night sky.

According to the Met Office, this demonstration was attributed to a coronal mass ejection (CME), a massive ejection of plasma from the Sun's outermost layer. In such a situation, after seeing this, a Twitter user has shared beautiful pictures of Northern Lights, which people were mesmerized to see.

If we talk about the reason behind this natural phenomenon, according to their study by scientists, aurora originates from the interaction of electron and plasma waves. This process of meeting electrons and plasma waves takes place in the magnetosphere of the Earth's outer atmosphere.

Overall, it is a phenomenon in which electrons and protons that enter from outside the Earth collide with particles in the Earth's upper atmosphere to excite molecules and atoms in the upper atmosphere, causing them to emit light.
