One of the most prosperous Landlords in Greece was Allars Viedis. He was very proud of his wealth. The philosopher Socrates was very famous in Athens at that time.
People were highly influenced by Socrates' knowledge. Socrates had many disciples. When Allars Vides heard about Socrates' popularity, he went to meet Socrates.
Seeing Socrates' simple lifestyle, Allars Viedis snapped his face and introduced himself to Socrates and began to talk about his wealth and possessions.
Socrates kept listening quietly. Sometime later, when Allars Viedis was silent, Socrates asked one of his disciples to bring the map of the world, spreading the map to the ground, asking Allars Vides - where is his country of Greece? Allars Viedis didcovered Greece on the map.
Socrates then asked, "Where is your province of Erica?" Alars Viedis discovered the province with great difficulty. Socrates then questioned. Where is your property land in it?
Allars Viedis said, "How can such a small land be told in a map?" Socrates then said, "Brother! You are proud of the small land for which a point cannot be placed on such a large map?"
Upon hearing Socrates, a voice of remorse appeared on the face of Allied Vides and he immediately apologized to Socrates.
The essence is that no physical object should be boasted, because it is temporary and human life is transitory.
