Chinese philosopher Confucius

The Chinese philosopher Confucius was world famous for his knowledge and intelligence.

One day the then emperor of China invited him to his court. When Confucius arrived at the court, the emperor greeted him and provided him with the appropriate posture.

When everyone sat down, the emperor said to Confucius, "I want you to take me to the person who is called the Great." Confucius said, "Emperor! Who can be more noble than you? You have the feeling of knowing the truth and the one who has such a high sense, it is great."

Listening to Confucius, the emperor said - but I think there will be someone greater than me?  Confucius said that I am more noble than you because I love the truth.

The emperor asked - who is greater than you?  Confucius said, "You must find. After saying this, Confucius walked with the emperor. On going away, he saw an old man digging a well. After seeing him, Confucius said," Emperor!  It is greater than me. Its age has passed. The body is also relaxed, yet the well is digging. It has a spirit of philanthropy and one with this spirit is the greatest.

The essence is that those who work for the welfare of others, they are truly great.
