Motivational statement of Thomas Alva Edison

Motivational statement of Thomas Alva Edison

  • Our biggest weakness is in giving up, while the best way to succeed is to try once more.
  • Among the people who fail in life, there are many people who do not know how close they were to success when they gave up.
  • Talent is one percent inspiration, and 99% perspiration.
  • There is no alternative to hard work.
  • Nature is indeed very beautiful and amazing and humans are really dishonest.
  • Being busy does not always mean working.
  • You need an imagination and a pile of junk to invent.
  • If we do all the things that we are capable of doing, then we will surprise ourselves.
  • Three things are required to achieve anything - hard work, stubbornness and common sense.
  • Your value is in what you are, not in what you have.
  • There are many unsuccessful people who did not realize how close they were to success.
  • The opportunity is lost by most people.
  • Non-violence carries the highest morality, which is the goal of gradual development.  Until we stop harming all other living beings, we are wild.
  • Any thing that you have created for some work and that work does not do that thing, it does not mean that it is useless.
  • I have never worked a single day in my life. It was all entertainment.
  • I am proud that I never invented weapons to commit murder.
  • I know what the world wants.  After that I go ahead and invent that thing.
  • There is time for everything.
  • There are more opportunities than you are capable.
  • Think a lot of ideas if you want a great idea.
  • I start from where the last person   left.
  • The value of an idea lies in its use.
  • Discontent is the first need for progress.
  • I get my happiness and reward for what comes before that which the world calls success.
  • Great ideas come from mass muscles.
  • The work of the body is to move the mind here and there.
  • I will never invent something that is not sold, because its selling is a proof of utility, and utility is success.
  • Be a master.  Be brave like your ancestors.  Move ahead.
