Goal

Once in France an organization organized a best article competition. Many scholars had sent their articles to the institution.  Napoleon Bonaparte also had an article in those articles.

Napoleon Bonaparte received the first prize for his article. After a long time, when Napoleon Bonaparte became Emperor of France, one of his ministers came to know about this. The minister went to the office of that institution and brought the original copy of that article written by Napoleon Bonaparte.

One day the minister showed Napoleon Bonaparte that article and asked, 'Emperor, do you know the author of this article?' Napoleon Bonaparte kept looking at that article for a while and then put it in a burning bonfire nearby.

That paper burned immediately. The minister was surprised and scared after seeing this. Because the minister thought that the emperor would give him some reward. Fearing the minister, Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte asked, 'Why did you burn this article?'

Napoleon Bonaparte replied to the minister, 'That article was a small achievement of my time. Now it is no longer of any importance.'

This is to say that we should be happy at every small achievement we have and learn from that small achievement and move forward to achieve bigger goals. There are many people who take pride in the achievement of a small achievement and go about telling it proudly to all the people.  So we should try to achieve the big goal with full force after achieving small achievement.
