Our Work

Abraham Lincoln had his first day in office after becoming President of the US. When Abraham Lincoln arrived to address the US Parliament Senate, a rich man got up and said, 'Mr. Abraham Lincoln you must not forget that your father used to make shoes for my family.

Hearing this, all the senate members started laughing. All members of the Senate felt that Abraham Lincoln had been made fun of. But some people are completely different.

Abraham Lincoln looked at the man and said, 'Sir, I know that my father used to make shoes for your family. There will be many more such people here. But no one else could make good shoes like them. He was truly a creator. Shoes were not just shoes for him. He used to put his whole soul in his work. I want to ask you if you noticed any deficiency in their work because I myself know the work of making shoes. I'll make another pair of shoes for you.

But as far as I remember, no one has ever complained about his work.  He was a genius and I am proud of him.

There was silence in the entire Senate. Abraham Lincoln was so proud of his father's quality that he did his work wholeheartedly.

From this story we learn that if we do our work with all our heart and with true devotion, then it gives us complete self satisfaction and true happiness. This way your work is valued.

Another lesson comes from this story that no one can humiliate you unless you feel humiliated.
