Judge Yourself

There was a farmer named Gopal who was very hardworking and honest. Therefore, people used to do a lot of praise because of these same qualities.

One day Gopal was returning home in the evening.  It was dark when returning home. He saw four people talking about him together, because he heard his name. So he quietly took advantage of the darkness and followed them to hear his praise.

When Gopal listened to those four people, Gopal realized that all four of them were doing evil to him. Somebody was saying that Gopal is very arrogant. Somebody was saying that he is just pretending to be good. In this way, all four of them were committing evils about different types of Gopal.

This had a very bad effect on the farmer. He was very unhappy. He could not even imagine that in this way someone in the village could do evil about him. He started feeling sad. Seeing it everywhere, it seemed that people were doing evil to me. Whenever the farmer saw two or four people standing together, he felt that they must be doing evil to me.

Due to this, the behavior of the farmer started changing. Seeing all this, the wife of that farmer also started getting very upset.

One day the farmer's wife asked the farmer, "What has happened to you? Why are you so upset? Now your behavior is not as good as it used to be. '

Hearing this, the farmer told all the things to his wife. The wife told her husband that a monk lives in the village. You go and meet the monk.  You'll like it.

The farmer went to the monk after listening to his wife and told the monk about the criticism. Instead of immediately answering the monk, he said to the farmer, "You stay here with me tonight."

The farmer stayed with the monk. The monk's hut was near a pond. At night, when Gopal was trying to sleep, the sound of the frogs came.

Hearing the sound of the frog's turp, Gopal asked the monk, 'monk, why is this the sound of the frogs' sounding?  The monk listened to Gopal and said, "Son - there is a pond near the hut and there are lots of frogs that keep moving."

Gopal said that the sound is coming so much that as if thousands of frogs live in the pond. The monk said - 'All right.'  The monk told Gopal that if you can help me, then do it.

Gopal said - Okay.  There are thousands of frogs in this pond, so I will bring forty-fifty laborers from the village tomorrow itself. We will try to get all the frogs out of the pond.

The next day the farmer does the same.  He brought fourty-fifty laborers from the village.  The workers put a big net in the pond and pulled it out and saw that hardly 50 frogs came in that trap.

The farmer was surprised to see this. Asked the monk, "What happened this night there were thousands of frogs and now there are hardly fifty frogs."

The monk said that there were no thousands of frogs. There were so many frogs. These were the sounds of tur-tur and you thought that there are thousands of frogs.

This is exactly what happened to you.  When some four people called you bad, you started feeling that everyone was doing evil about you, thinking wrong about you, and in this way you started to judge yourself.

That is to say, we should never be judgmental for ourselves by listening to the words of some people.  There are many people who keep on sounding like frogs, but we should not pay attention to them.  One should live life with the thought of positivity and keep moving forward.
