Whatever actions a person performs in life, they return to him at some point. This law applies not only to external actions, but is equally true for our inner lives.
If we have knowingly or unknowingly wronged someone, or harmed someone, the consequences will surely return. Similarly, if we have sown the seeds of love, compassion, cooperation, and goodwill, their fruits will surely manifest in our lives. This is the eternal law of karma.
But there is another subtle action, which most people fail to see: the way we treat our own mind and emotions.
When a person repeatedly immerses his mind in negativity, suppresses his feelings, and ignores them instead of understanding them, he sows the seeds of unrest within himself. In time, this unrest returns to his life. Then he seeks solace in the external world: in wealth, relationships, success, or miracles. But the cause of inner unrest is not external, but within the actions he takes.
Today's man is so preoccupied with his material pursuits that he doesn't find time to see what he's sowing within himself. He strives to change the world, but lacks the courage to examine his own mind. As a result, his external achievements increase, but the inner emptiness deepens.
When a person transcends the limitations of the mind and intellect and acts from a conscious state of awareness, his actions become pure. This doesn't mean that emotions disappear within him, but rather that he is no longer a slave to them. He sees them in the light of consciousness. Where there is the light of consciousness, emotions become a means, not a bondage. Then every action is born of awareness, not reaction.
Consciousness is not something that needs to be acquired from somewhere else. It already exists within us. The only need is to recognize it.
Unfortunately, from childhood, we are taught much about the mind and even cultivate our intellect, but consciousness is rarely introduced. That's why millions of people still await miracles. In spirituality, they look to the past, while in material life, they move toward the future.
No parent tells their children, "We traveled in a bullock cart, so you should travel in one too." They tell them about cars, trains, planes, and space. They want the next generation to surpass them.
But in the spiritual realm, the opposite often happens. People cling to the miracles of the past. They want to repeat events that have already happened. Instead of awakening themselves, they wait for someone else's miracle. Thus, their lives remain trapped in memories of the past, not in the present.
Change is the eternal law of the universe. If physical science can continuously evolve, the science of consciousness can also bring new dimensions to human life. The time has come for spirituality to cease being merely a matter of faith, but a matter of conscious experience.
Bringing consciousness into life is the greatest need of the coming era. This should begin from childhood. Children should be taught not only to be successful, but also to know themselves. Because only those who know themselves can truly understand the world.
True salvation is not simply the idea of liberation from the cycle of birth and death. Real salvation is when a person begins to live in consciousness, free from ignorance, fear, reaction, and limited identity. And perhaps an even bigger question is, what after salvation?
The answer is that salvation is not the end, but the beginning of an infinite journey of consciousness. Life does not end there, but begins to live with complete awareness for the first time.
This is the next evolution of humanity. This is the spiritual revolution of the future. And this is the message that must be given to future generations...
"Before conquering the external world, know the consciousness within you. For it is the source of all actions, the result of all actions, and the ultimate freedom of life."
