The Rise and Fall of Two Brothers

It's a long story. In Surat, Gujarat, there was a businessman named Mansukh Lal. He traded precious stones.

His business spanned many countries around the world. He was respected and honored throughout Surat.

Mansukh Lal had two sons, Ramlal and Shyamlal. Ramlal was very proud of his wealth and status, while Shyamlal was a decent and composed man.

Along with his pride, Ramlal also possessed vices like jealousy and dishonesty.

As time went on, Mansukh Lal grew older. As a result, his two sons began to help their father more and more in the business.

After some time, Mansukh Lal passed away, and the entire burden of the business fell on Ramlal and Shyamlal's shoulders.

As the elder brother, Ramlal began to exercise his own will in business decisions. Ramlal began to make dishonest and cunning decisions.

He began trading fake gemstones under the guise of genuine gemstones, which increased his profits. This profit tarnished his remaining character.

Arrogant about his wealth, he began behaving like a maniac in his family.

On the other hand, Shyamlal, a respectable and well-adjusted man, initially remained unaware of Ramlal's dishonesty.

But when he saw a change in his behavior, it didn't take long for him to understand the whole situation.

Shyamlal was deeply saddened by Ramlal's actions. He tried to reason with him and bring him back to the right path, but he failed.

Instead, Ramlal became angry with Shyamlal and began looking for an excuse to divide the business. He even plotted dishonesty during the division.

This created an atmosphere of discord in the family. Ultimately, Ramlal succeeded in his plot and took over Shyamlal's share of the business.

Dissatisfied with Ramlal's behavior, Shyamlal relocated to another location in the city and restarted his gemstone business.

Shyamlal's business, founded on honesty, soon took off.

While Shyamlal's fame grew both domestically and internationally, Ramlal's misdeeds began to be exposed.

Due to the counterfeit gemstone trade, Ramlal's reputation in the gemstone market suffered a severe blow, and his business began to shrink.

Finally, it reached a point where, not only outside, but even in his own city, merchants began to refuse to mention Ramlal's name.

The situation reached such a point that Ramlal was forced to sell his house, shop, and possessions due to lack of money.

Soon, Ramlal lost everything and was left on the streets with his family.

Now, Ramlal was regretting his actions.  But it wasn't easy for him to turn back from the game fate had played.

On the other hand, Shyamlal's fate had transformed him from a pauper to a king.

When Shyamlal learned of Ramlal's plight, he was deeply saddened.

Forgetting the past, he rushed to his elder brother Ramlal and, despite Ramlal's repeated refusals, brought him and his family home.

It was also a twist of fate that the same brother whom Ramlal had mistreated and forced onto the streets, had today picked him up from the street and brought him home.

No one can predict what tricks fate will play on whom. Yes, it is certain that your actions determine your destiny.

Just as fate played tricks on Ramlal and Shyamlal based on their actions...

You should continue to do good deeds; who knows what tricks fate may play on you tomorrow. That's why it is said, "Fate's game is unique."
