There lived a proud lion in the jungle. He was very powerful, and all the animals in the forest feared him. He always said,"I am the king of the jungle, everyone bows before me. Whoever disobeys me, I will teach them a lesson."
The lion's pride grew so great that he began to frighten every small animal. He believed that everything was possible through strength. The animals of the jungle were troubled by this, but no one could oppose him.
In the same jungle lived a clever and intelligent monkey. He knew that the lion had great strength, but his intelligence was weak. The monkey thought,"If I show the lion his foolishness, he will understand his mistake."
One day, the lion became very angry. He discovered that the monkey was climbing a tree and eating fruit in front of him. The lion ran over and, in a stern voice, said,"Who gave you permission to eat this fruit? It's for me!"
The monkey looked at the lion and laughed, saying,"You are the king, but this tree and these fruits are not for you. It is the law of the jungle that the fruits are for everyone. If you don't listen to me, I will jump from the top and run away."
The lion thought he could catch the monkey. He went to the tree and tried to climb up. But the lion's heavy body and the tree's thin branches could not support him. The lion got stuck.
The monkey sat on the strongest branch of the tree and looked at the lion and laughed. He said to the lion,"See, Your Majesty, strength isn't everything. Sometimes, intelligence and wisdom bring success. If you act with patience and wisdom, everyone in the jungle will be respected."
The lion thought and realized that his pride and greed had gotten him into trouble. He apologized to the monkey and said,"You showed me my mistake. From now on, I will rule not only with strength, but with wisdom and justice."
From then on, the lion began to balance his cunning and power. He was no longer just a fearful king, but a wise and just king. All the animals of the forest were happy and began to appreciate the monkey's intelligence.
This story teaches us that strength and power don't always work. It's important to use understanding, wisdom, and patience. Pride only causes harm, and only cleverness can solve difficult problems.
💐Lesson : -Strength and power should be used wisely. Pride causes harm, and wisdom is the key to success.
