The Unflying Bird

In a forest, there lived a bird that had wings, but couldn't fly. The other birds, soaring high in the sky, often mocked her, "Hey! You're a bird, and you're crawling on the ground!"

Her daily taunts shattered her confidence. Tears welled up in her eyes, and she thought, "Why did God make me like this? I have no use here." Saddened, she began to leave the forest.

Then a miracle happened!

As she started to leave, a huge jamun tree called out to her, "Wait! Where are you going? Don't leave us, we need you very much."

The bird was astonished, "Need me? I can't even fly, what use will I be to anyone?"

The tree smiled and said, "Silly girl! So what if you can't fly? When you eat our fruit with your strong beak, it's because of you that our seeds spread throughout the forest, giving birth to new life. Other birds may be flying high in the sky, but you're the hero who makes this forest dense and lush!"

That day, the bird realized that she wasn't useless, but incomparable.

We often find ourselves unhappy by comparing ourselves to others. We forget that everyone's role is different.

You may not be able to do what others are doing, but you can do what no one else can.

Never underestimate yourself. You are amazing just the way you are!
