There was a farmer who was returning home from working in his fields.
There was a sweet shop on the way. The farmer had worked a lot that day and was feeling very hungry. As he passed by the sweet shop, he smelled the aroma of sweets. He couldn't resist going there. However, he didn't have much money that day, so he couldn't buy sweets. So he stood there for a while, enjoying the aroma.
When the sweet shop owner saw the farmer happily enjoying the aroma of the sweets in his shop, he couldn't bear to see the farmer's happiness. He went to the farmer and said, "Pay your money." The farmer was surprised and said, "I haven't bought or tasted any sweets, so why pay?" The sweet shop owner replied, "Even though you haven't eaten any sweets, you have at least enjoyed the aroma of the sweets I made."
The sweet shop owner said, "Smelling sweets is equivalent to eating them, so you'll have to pay for them."
The farmer was a little nervous at first, but then, showing some understanding, he took some coins from his pocket and jingled them between his hands. After jingling, the farmer started on his way.
The confectioner said, "Give me my money!" The farmer replied, "Just as enjoying the aroma of sweets is equivalent to eating them, listening to the jingle of coins is equivalent to receiving money."
So, friends, you will often encounter people like this confectioner in your life. Don't panic. Respond wisely and get out of the problem, just like this farmer.
