Once upon a time, two farmers lived in a village. Both were very poor, each with a small piece of land, and they worked hard to support themselves and their families.
Unexpectedly, after some time, both died on the same day at the same time. Yamaraj took them together to the Lord. They were brought to the Lord.
God looked at them and asked, *"What do you want now? What was lacking in this life? What should I make of you and send you back into the world?"*
Hearing God's words, one of the farmers angrily said, *"Oh God! You gave me a very poor life in this life. You gave me nothing. All my life I worked like an ox in the fields. Whatever I earned was spent just to fill my stomach. I never got to wear good clothes or feed my family well. Whatever money I earned, someone would come and take it away, and I never got anything. Look at the animal-like life I've lived."*
Hearing God's words, God remained silent for a while and then asked the farmer again, *"So what do you want now? What should I make of you in this life?"*
Hearing God's question, the farmer again said, *"Lord, please do something so that I never have to give anything to anyone. I only get money from everywhere."*
After saying this, the farmer He fell silent. God listened to him and said, "So be it. You may go now. I will give you the life you have asked for."
After he left, God again asked the second farmer, "Tell me, what do you want to become? What was lacking in your life? What do you want?"
The farmer folded his hands before God and said, *"Oh God, you have given me everything, what more can I ask from you? You gave me a good family, some land on which I worked hard to give my family a good life. You gave me and my family enough food to eat. My family and I never slept hungry. There was only one thing lacking in my life, which I regretted all my life and still do. Sometimes hungry and thirsty people would come to my door to ask for food, but sometimes I was unable to give them food because I did not have any, and they would return hungry from my door. Having said this, he became silent."*
After listening to him, God asked him, *"So what do you want now? What should I make you in this life?"*
The farmer folded his hands and prayed to God, *"Oh Lord! "Do something so that no one ever goes hungry or thirsty from my door."
God said, "So be it. Go, no one ever goes hungry or thirsty from your door."
Now both of them were born together in the same village. They grew up together.
The first man who had asked God to grant him only wealth from all sides and never have to give anything to anyone became the biggest beggar in the village. Now he didn't have to give anything to anyone, and he would leave only after putting money in the bag of anyone who came.
And the second man who had asked God to grant him nothing, only that no one ever goes hungry or thirsty from his door became the richest man in the village.
*Everything has two sides - *Positive and negative*
Now it depends on your thinking whether you see things negatively or positively. If you want to live a good life, make your thinking positive. Don't find faults in things, but rather accept what God has given you. Enjoy what you have been given and always have a spirit of service towards others!!!
