Conquering the Impossible

Napoleon Bonaparte was a great warrior of France. Once Napoleon and his army had to cross the Alps. No one had crossed the Alps before nor did anyone know what was on top of the Alps. So because of this it was a very difficult task, but Napoleon Bonaparte who was used to taking risks was not going to give up and he decided that we have to cross the Alps and he set out with his soldiers. There was fear in the minds of the soldiers that no one had crossed the Alps before so it was not in their capacity, but Napoleon Bonaparte used to motivate them from time to time.

On their way, they met an old woman. She asked him where they were going. Napoleon replied, "We have to cross the Alps." The old woman laughed at this and said, "No one has dared to cross the Alps before, and whoever has, hasn't returned. So, put that thought out of your mind and go back."

But hearing this, Napoleon Bonaparte laughed and told the woman, "You have doubled my courage. Now, I will not rest until I cross this mountain."

The old woman replied, "You are the first person who hasn't been discouraged by my words." Napoleon replied, "If I come back, please honor me." With this, Napoleon gave the old woman his necklace and continued walking. The soldiers were a little frightened by the old woman's words, but Napoleon encouraged them too.

His soldiers kept telling him, "This is the Alps." Napoleon kept saying, "No, this is just a small mountain; the Alps are much larger." He continued walking. The soldiers kept telling him, "This is the mountain," but Napoleon kept saying, "No, this is just a small mountain; that mountain is even bigger." Finally, they reached the top of a mountain, and there was no other large mountain around it. Seeing this, his soldiers asked, "Which one is the Alps?" Napoleon replied, "Where you are standing is the Alps." Hearing this, his soldiers jumped with joy, and finally, Napoleon and his soldiers crossed the Alps.

Napoleon Bonaparte was a great leader of France, and the word "impossible" didn't exist in his dictionary. That's why Napoleon is called the world's greatest warrior.

The Alps were a huge mountain, but climbing it meant risking one's life. Despite this, Napoleon and his team crossed the mountain.  This shows that unless we take risks, we won't succeed. He crossed the Alps, albeit slowly. We too must set small goals in life to achieve our goals.

If someone else had been in Napoleon's place, he would have immediately turned back after hearing the old woman's words. However, Napoleon took her words positively and continued, energizing his courage.

Moral : - We must face any challenge with courage. Like that old woman, we will face many difficulties along the way. Many people will laugh at us and say we can't move forward. But we must take their words as our positive energy and move forward.

We learn from Napoleon that we should never be afraid to take risks in life. It's better to take a little risk and move forward than to do nothing. What will happen? Will we win or lose?  But the confidence we gain after taking risks will be nothing short of miraculous.

Trouble is a part of our lives; instead of lamenting over it, face it. Instead of focusing on the problem, it's better to focus on the solution and face it. Often, when trouble strikes, we give up, but we must fight it.
