The Dormant Dreamer

A long time ago—in a corner of the lush green earth, a tiny seed lay dormant deep within the soil.

It wasn't ordinary—a dream was growing within it, a dream of becoming a giant banyan tree.

It thought, "One day I will grow so big that passersby will rest in my shade, birds will sing in my nest, and my roots will hold the earth together."

But then it said to itself,"Not yet... The time isn't right. When the first rains come, I will emerge as a sprout."

The rains came—gentle drops seeped into the soil, life was about to awaken—but the seed spoke again,"The sun hasn't risen yet. How can I grow without it?"

A few days later, the sun shone, warm and bright, but the seed found a new reason—"The soil isn't fertile enough yet. When it has more nourishment, I'll begin my journey."

Just like that, the seasons kept changing.  Rain fell, sunshine shone, winds blew—But every time the seed waited for the "right time."

Years passed. Other seeds nearby sprouted, became plants, some even became trees.

And that tiny seed remained locked in its shell—

Imprisoned by its own excuses.

One day, a farmer came to plow the same spot.

As he dug up the soil, he found a dry, lifeless seed in his fingers.

The seed, once full of life, was now lifeless.

The farmer looked at it and said softly,"If only you had tried just once."

The seed, which once dreamed of a banyan tree, was now just a dream—because it spent its life just taking the first step.

Lesson : - Life passes by waiting for the right time. The step that can be taken today becomes the banyan tree of tomorrow.
