Once upon a time, there lived a boy named Veer in a village. As a child, he was energetic, enthusiastic, and curious. The speed of a horse, the current of a river, and the heights of the sky—all of them fascinated him.
The village elders often said, "This boy has glimpses of a true man... responsibility, determination, and courage."
But over time, something changed. Gradually, the man within him began to fade.
As Veer reached adolescence, he began to lose his inner fire.
Now, he spent hours engrossed in his mobile phone, wasting time in obscenity. Drug addiction eroded his body, and he lost control over his eating and drinking.
Goals became blurred, aspirations cooled, and he began wasting his energy chasing after others.
The villagers began to say, "Where is that manliness in him?"
No courage, no responsibility, no self-respect...
Veer felt as if the man within him had been lost somewhere.
And one day he met an old man...
One evening, he was sitting dejected on the riverbank when an old sage came.
He looked Veer in the eyes and asked, "Do you know who a true man is?"
Veer said, "One who has strength...?"
The sage smiled, "No, son.
A true man is one who demonstrates his strength—takes responsibility, shows perseverance, loves, and becomes a pillar of society through his actions."
Then he said, "Boys are born... men are made."
The sage gave Veer eight rules for life...
1. Supreme Knowledge—"Read daily to strengthen the mind."
2. Exercise—"Tensure the body, only then will the mind be tempered."
3. Self-control—“Obscenity and intoxication are the graves of masculinity.”
4. Sleep—“A tired mind can never become a warrior.”
5. Character—“Don't chase women; set your goal.”
6. Self-development—“Become a better version of yourself every day.”
7. Company—“Negative people poison the soul.”
8. Goal—“Don't forget the purpose of your life; that is your true masculinity.”
Veer changed himself… and changed the world.
Veer implemented these mantras in his life.
Gradually, his body grew stronger, his mind calmed, his goals became clearer, and responsibility became his hallmark.
Today, he teaches the youth of his village—“True masculinity lies not in the body, but in courage and responsibility.”
