If you use Google Photos then it is very easy to recover deleted photos. By the way, all Android phones have Google's Photos app by default. There is also an option of photo backup in Google Photos, with the help of which you can also take backup of photos on Google Drive.
If photos have been deleted from Google Photos, don't worry.
To recover deleted photos from Google Photos, follow these steps : -
- Open the Google Photos app on your device or visit the Google Photos website on your computer.
- Sign in to your Google account that was associated with the Google Photos app.
- Once logged in, tap on the "Menu" icon (three horizontal lines) in the top left corner or click on "Library" if using the website.
- From the menu, select "Trash" or "Bin". This will show you all the photos and videos that have been deleted within the past 60 days.
- Browse through the deleted items and locate the photos you want to recover.
- Once you have found the deleted photos, select them by tapping on the checkbox or clicking on the photo thumbnail.
- After selecting the photos you want to recover, tap on the "Restore" button located at the bottom right corner of your screen. This will restore the selected photos back to your Google Photos library.
- The recovered photos will now appear in your Google Photos library, and you can view and download them as usual.
Note : - It's important to note that if you've deleted photos from the "Trash" or "Bin" folder, they will be permanently deleted after 60 days. So, ensure that you restore them within this timeframe.
To avoid such problems, always keep data backup on in Google Photos. The advantage of this will be that if you login to another phone with the same ID, you will automatically get the backup of the photos in the new phone. There will be no fear of data loss.
