World's Oldest Person 'Ken Tanaka' Dies



Ken Tanaka, the oldest woman in the world, is no more. Ken, a resident of Japan, breathed his last at the age of 119. He was born on January 2, 1903 in Fukuoka, southwestern Japan. The year that Ken Tanaka was born, the Wright brothers took their first flight.

In the year 2019, his name was entered in the Guinness Book in which it was told that Ken Tanaka is the oldest person in the world. The Japanese government announced on Monday that Ken Tanaka had passed away. According to media reports, Ken Tanaka said goodbye to the world on April 19 in a hospital. The Guinness Book of World Records also tweeted after the death of Ken Tanaka and said that we are sorry to inform that Kane is no more in this world.

Ken Tanaka loved chocolate and fizzy drinks.  Kane was married in the year 1922 and was the mother of 4 children. In the recent past, she was living in a nursing home. Here she used to enjoy soda, chocolate, board games.

When her name was registered in the Guinness World in the year 2019, she was 116 years old at that time. The Guinness Book of World Records ranked him as the oldest living person in the world.

In September 2020, at the age of 117 years and 261 days, Tanaka became the oldest person ever in Japan. After the death of Tanaka, now Lucille Rendon of France has become the oldest person in the world, whose age is 118 years 73 days.

Ken Tanaka liked to have chocolate and soda.  Apart from this, she used to play board games and solve difficult maths questions in the nursing home. When she was young, she had several businesses including a noodle shop and a rice cake store.

Tanaka had nine siblings. He married Hideo Tanaka in 1922 at the age of 19. They had four children and adopted a fifth child.

Tanaka told about his longevity. He used to say that the secret of his longevity was to eat delicious food and learn new things. His food also included chocolate and soda.
