History Of Ice Cream



Whatever the weather, the fun of eating ice cream is different. But do you know? It has taken thousands of years for this form of ice cream to reach our plate. This cool sea dessert has been prepared in different countries and civilizations. Today we have ice cream in your hands in many flavors, going from taste to preparation. So let's know what is the story of the birth of this most favorite and cool ice cream.

First of all, if we talk about Indians, Indians have been enjoying Kulfi for almost five hundred years. There is also a story behind Kulfi that cold desserts were made to please Emperor Akbar. Whose recipe has been written in literature like Ain-Akbari and Akbarnama. A race was held among the horsemen to bring snow to please Akbar. Who had gone to fetch snowflakes from Chur Chandra Dhar in Himachal.

However, if we talk about the birth of ice cream, then the word Kulfi is a Parsi word. Which shows that Kulfi must have been born first in Iran or Paras. Kulfi is usually made from condensed flavored milk. Which is sealed and stored in a metal container. On the other hand, Iranians knew to mix fruit juices with ice since the 6th century BC. Along with the Greeks and Arabs, this cold ice cream reached the west.

At the same time, Nero, the ruler of France, used to eat ice cream made from fruit juice. At the same time, the kings of China used to eat dishes like Kulfi in five thousand BC. Some women have been made to eat ice cream in the painting made on the tomb of the crown prince Zhanghui. At the same time, the princess of Italy brought some Italian chefs to France after her marriage. Those who knew the recipe made of ice.

In America, the people of the Quaker movement brought ice cream. Those who came from England and settled here. Benjamin Franklin and George Washington were ice cream lovers.  Who used to serve it to their guests along with eating it. After the invention of the insulated ice house in 1851, ice cream became a mass production. After which it reached the reach of common man.
