The Amazon jungle, full of mysteries, is like an inexplicable puzzle. This forest is counted among the largest forests in the world, as it is spread over billions of acres. This forest is so vast that it alone touches the borders of nine countries. There is such a river in this forest, whose water is always boiling. It is said that if someone accidentally falls in its water, then his death is almost certain.
This mysterious river present in Peru was discovered by geologist Andre Rujo in the year 2011. The story of the discovery of this river named Mayantuyacu is very interesting, about which Andre Rujo has told. In fact, since childhood, Rujo had heard stories of such imaginary rivers, which filled him with wonder, but then he had absolutely no idea that such a river actually existed.
According to Andre Rujo, when he grew up, the story of the boiling river was always on his mind. He often wondered whether this was possible. He even sought to know about this from his university colleagues, oil, gas and mining companies, but the answer was no. Apart from this, even if we look scientifically, it is not possible that the water of the river should always be boiling, unless there is an active volcano nearby.
In this confused state, one day he reached the jungles of Amazon, where he saw his fictional story coming true. He finally managed to find a river whose water was mysteriously boiling.
According to Andre Rujo, this river is about four miles long, twenty five meters wide and six meters deep. The temperature of the water of this river varies between 50 to 90 degree Celsius and in some places reaches up to 100 degree, from which you can also make tea.
According to Andre Roujo, if a human or animal falls into the boiling water of this river, then it can also die. He himself had seen many small creatures falling into the water, which died instantly. The water temperature of the river is said to be around 80 degree Celsius.
Rujo has also written a book about this river called 'The Boiling River: Adventure and Discovery in the Amazon'. In this book he has told about the secrets of the river. According to him, this river is a wonder of nature, whose water is mysteriously boiling. Scientists are doing research about this, but till now it is not known why its water is so hot.
