Virtue

Once there was a King. One of the king's ministers was very intelligent. But he was not beautiful in appearance.

One day the king told the minister, 'You are very intelligent, but if you were beautiful, it would have been very good.

The General Minister understood that king was making fun of him. The minister told the king, "king, the appearance is destroyed with age. A good person is identified by his qualities and knowledge."

The king told the minister, 'Whatever you are saying, can you prove it. The minister said, 'Alright' King, I will prove it tomorrow. '

The summer season was going on. After the court ended, the minister removed the earthen pot kept with the king and replaced it with a gold urn.The king's minister filled the gold urn with water. After that covered the urn with a cloth.

The next day a court was held. The king and all the courtiers appeared in the court. The heat had increased in the afternoon. When the king was thirsty, he asked the servant to bring water. The servant immediately filled the glass with water and gave it to the king. The king got angry after drinking water and said to the servant, 'Why are you giving me hot water in this summer season?'

When the king got up and removed the cloth from the pot, there was a very beautiful vase of gold there. All the people present in the court were praising the beauty of that urn.

Now the minister said to the king, 'This gold urn is beautiful, but it cannot cool the water in this hot season. To cool the water, a matka made of ugly black clay is useful. Just like that a person also becomes great by virtue, not by beauty.  After that the king stopped boasting of his beauty.

To say that a person should not boast of beauty. Virtues are important. Because a person becomes great by virtue.
