Power

Bhima was very proud of his power. Once in exile, Draupadi saw a lotus. Draupadi took him and asked Bhima to bring another lotus of the same kind. Bhima went to take lotus. Going further, Bhima found a huge banana forest on the top of Gandhamadan mountain, into which he entered. Hanuman used to live in this forest.

When Hanuman ji came to know about Bhima's arrival, he thought that now going further in the path of heaven would be harmful for Bhima.  Therefore Hanumanji lay down in the way of Bhima.

When Bhimsen reached there and asked Hanuman to give way, Hanuman said that from here onwards this mountain is inaccessible to man.  So go back from here.

Bhima said, "If I die or escape, what will you do with this? You rise up and give me the way."  Hanuman said, "Because of suffering from the disease, I cannot get up. You leave me and go away."

Bhima said, God is in the body of all beings.  One should not insult him by crossing.  Then Hanuman said, then you grab my tail and remove it and go away.

Bheem grabbed Hanuman's tail and pulled it in full swing, but he did not move.  Bhima's face bowed with shame.  He apologizes and asks for introduction.

Then Hanuman introduced himself and gave a boon that I will help you in the time of Mahabharata war.

It means to say that humility only makes power venerable.  Therefore, do not boast of your power and use it in hospitality and become respectable in the society.
