Once upon a time. There used to be a merchant named Soong Li selling caps in a village in China. Soong Lee left a lot of wealth for his father, so he had no desire to work. But he was working for fear that the god of profession should not get angry.
Soong Lee's behavior was very bad towards his customers. Soong Lee used to sew hats casually and used to take more money from his customers. All the people of the village were angry with Soong Lee. One day a person from the village called a hat merchant from another village called Bang La. Bang La used to sew caps very well and take proper money. Apart from Bang La Capis, he also made good bags. So now all the villagers started buying caps and bags from Bang La. Bang La's shop was right in front of Soong Lee's shop. Soong Lee was miserable in his mind after seeing his fast running business.
One day Soong Lee was resting his shop. Suddenly he saw that a monk had come to Bang La's shop. Sannyasis had deer leather shining like gold. Sanyasi gave it to Bang La and asked him to make a bag. Bang La continued to work all day and prepared the bag as the sannyasi said and hung it on the wall of his shop. From the very next day, the people of Bang La village started giving caps for free. After that he often started feeding food to saints and ascetics. Sung Lee found this thing strange.
One day when Bang La closed his shop, Soong Lee went to his shop and started looking inside the cracks of his door. Soong Lee noticed that Bang La is shaking the bag made for the monk and the gold coins are falling from that bag. Soong Lee was surprised to see this incident. After that Soong Lee thought why not grab this bag?
The next day Soong Lee sneaks into his shop and steals Bang La's bag, and Soong Lee hangs a similar fake bag there. Soong Lee closed his shop at night and shook the bag in the same way, but the money did not fall out of it. Rather, all the gold jewelery disappeared from his house. Soong Lee started to regret it. Soong Lee panics and goes to Bang La, telling him the whole incident and pleads with Bang La to get all his missing ornaments back. Meanwhile, all the people of the village gathered to see Soong Lee crying. Then suddenly a sannyasi came out of the crowd and said, 'Soong Lee you don't believe in your work, so from today onwards this bag will be your livelihood.' The monk disappeared shortly after saying this.
Soong Lee, who did not trust his business and thought of grabbing the money of others, from that day hanged that bag on his shoulder and started to get wet.
The meaning of this is to say that we should never move forward in our life by deceit and should work hard by relying on our work.
