A Teacher and students

It is a matter of old times.  Once in class Guruji wanted to tell all his students that nature gives equal opportunities to everyone and by using that opportunity you can make your own destiny.  To explain this properly, Guruji took three bowls.  Put one potato in the first bowl, egg in the second and tea leaf in the third bowl.

Now put water in the three bowls and put them on the coals to boil.

All the students were watching all this with surprise, but no one understood anything.  After some time, when all three vessels started boiling, Guruji brought down all the bowls and took out the potatoes, egg and tea.

Now Guruji asked all the students to watch the three bowls carefully.  Still no student understood anything.

Finally Guruji asked a child to touch all the three potatoes, egg and tea.  When the student put his hand to the potato, he found that the potato which was very hard before, became very soft after boiling in water.  When the student picked up the egg, he found that the egg which was previously very fragile, has hardened after boiling.  Now it was time to lift the cup of tea.  When the student picked up the cup of tea, he saw that the tea leaf had changed its form by mixing it with hot water and now it had become tea.

Now Guru Ji explained that we had three different things going through the same calamity, that is, all three boiled in the same water, but on coming out, the three things did not get the same.

The potato which was hardened became soft, the egg hardened earlier and the tea leaf also changed its shape.  In the same way, the same thing applies to humans.

Story summary-:

All human beings also get equal opportunities, and come hard, but it is entirely up to you how you face trouble and what you become after you get through difficult times.
